Death&Tactics is a strategy roguelike that aims to deliver depth, challenge, and fun to curious newcomers and hardened veterans alike. The player controls a band of disgruntled minions who aim to overthrow their corporate masters-all within a colorful fantasy setting.

In this auto-battler, combats will require planning and strategy to succeed. The player must make use of the hundreds of unique items and skills to overcome the hoards of ghosts, ghouls, and other dungeon dwellers in their way.

In 2019, after a decade of dabbling in part-time game development, I decided to pursue my dream of creating an ambitious strategy game I wanted to play. Along the way I found some professional, talented artists who would help me elevate this project into a real game. For the last few years I've been working with the team to deliver my vision for a seriously meaty strategy roguelike.

Meaningful challenge. Enemies will battle with offensive spells, hardened defenses, and brutal speed. No single strategy will allow a player to breeze through floor after floor of encounters. Players will have to use every tool at their disposal to beat the hardest challenges the game has to offer.


Gameplay first. There is a light touch of setting and story. Enough to get the players started but not enough to slow them down.


Unique systems of character building and combat. We attempt to capture the hands-off fun of an auto-battler and the hands-on depth of a single-player PC strategy game.


Meat. I want the players who move on after a few hours and those who grind out the 100% save file to feel satisfied with their time spent. This game is not meant to feel like your second (or third) job.
